About NL&P

New Light & Power is a Christian singing group with deep roots in ministry, worship, and community outreach. Through songs, live performances, and service-focused appearances, the group has used music to encourage faith and connection across generations.

From the early years through regional appearances, New Light & Power built a legacy of gospel-centered performance and youth involvement. A featured newspaper story from 1992 highlighted the group’s Family Day participation and recognized their uplifting message and expanding impact in the Charleston area.

The 2026 reunion is a celebration of that history and a chance to reconnect, worship, and preserve these memories for current and future members.
